Shana Fried (born October 26, 1979) is a legally trained entrepreneur residing in New York, New York.

She is a founding partner at Higgins + Fried LLP , an entertainment law firm located in New York, New York, CEO of *snapshot* NYC Productions an LGBTQ event production company and an occasional DJ and filmmaker. She holds a Juris Doctor from New York Law School (2007) and a Bachelor of Science in Music Business from Northeastern University (2001).

Higgins + Fried LLP was started by Shana Fried and Kerry Elizabeth Higgins in March of 2010 with the intent on creating a new format for law firms and advocacy for the creative community. The firm currently services over one-hundred artists, musicians, filmmakers, music companies, production companies, fashion and design companies and lifestyle brands. Higgins + Fried LLP acts as a gateway from innovation to realization.

Fried's first and notable business venture was an event production company also located in New York, New York, *snapshot* NYC Productions. The company was created by Shana Fried, Andrea Berman, Trish Noe and Nicco Beretta in March of 2004 as a weekly mixed queer party that sought to eliminate the segregation then existing within the city's LGBTQ community. Fried started as a DJ and videographer for the events and evolved to music director, graphic designer, executive producer and ultimately, sole CEO. *snapshot* events gained widespread recognition within New York City's queer community and soon spread nationally and even internationally. The company's annual Proud As F*ck" celebration, held on New York City's Gay Pride hosted 1100 people its inaugural year and expanded to nearly 2,000 in 2012. The event attracts patrons from all over the globe and talents from as far away as Australia. Fried ceased regular operations of *snapshot* in 2011 in order to focus more on her law firm, but continues to host events throughout the year.
