P.V. Isaac in 1923

P.V. Isaac (? - 18 December 1960) was an Indian entomologist who served as the last Imperial Entomologist in British India. He was a specialist on the horseflies (Tabanidae).

Isaac was born to Mathen Varkey, a magistrate in Travancore State. Studied at Imperial College, London.

Isaac was married to Sucy (died 2000), daughter of Rao Saheb John Kurian and the had two sons and two daughters, one being Mary Roy.
