Arjun Vasudev (1 December 1990 - 27 March 2009) was a student of PSBB KK Nagar and passed out in 2008.[1] He then joined Loyola College, Chennai for a course on Visual Communications. He was an excellent lead guitarist and an exceptional football player. He is one of the members of a band, Esion, which consists of four of his closest buddies - Harish(vox), Ashwin(lead guitar), Kartik(drums) and Tej(bass guitar). TWKC consists of Arjun, Harish, Tej and Kartik. He is also part of Armour of God, Chennai's most famous band.
The rest of TWKC, joined by Arjun's brother, who is also a talented guitarist and who is filling Arjun's shoes as Lead Guitarist are performing at a tribute concert at the PSBB KK Nagar campus on May 15th. The concert is ticketed at Rs.100, the proceedings of which will go to a good cause.
Appearence[edit]
Arjun was taller than average, with an athletic build. His black hair was usually wavy and his brown eyes seem to smile at you when you look at them.
Personality[edit]
Arjun was a man with strong principles. He was a fierce Atheist and was reproachful of moral policing in the name of religion. He was known for practicing what he preaches. He also has an incredible charisma and it his juniors at school, like the author of this article, always looked up to him. He enjoyed a succesful stint at his school as Cultural Secretary. Arjun has an army of friends ready to lay down their lives for him. He has never let down his friends, and is even tempered with everyone. He was a favorite of all the teachers in his school, who unanimously acknowledge his charisma and sense of responsibility. To many, he was a mentor, giving them self confidence when they were down.
For instance, Yeshwin, who was two years Arjun's junior wanted to learn the guitar, but his classmates told him he didn't have the attitude for it. Arjun, being a supremely talented guitarist, was the one who guided Yeshwin and instilled confidence in him. Yeshwin is now in the process of becoming a very talented guitarist. This is one of the many success stories where Arjun had guided his peers, old and young. In fact, Arjun was the one responsible for killing the "killjoy attitude" of the author of this article.

Talents[edit]
Arjun was known as an unusually intelligent student among his teachers. He was also a supremely talented guitarist, taking after his elder brother. He was the star of the Farewell celebrations(Feb 2007) at his school, when he was a 11th grader. He won the "Best Metal Lead Guitarist of Chennai" award at the Unwind Centre Underground Competition, where his band, TWKC made a clean sweep of the awards in the "Metal" category, with Harish, Kartik and Tej winning the Best Vocalist, Best Bassist and Best Drummer awards respectively.[3]. He also appeared in the video of the song "My Life" in the tamil movie "Saroja".
He is a solid defender and is a veteran of his school's football team, the star of many clean sheets kept by the team.
