Ben Cabral Dos Santos is a philanthropist and author who was born in Guinea Bissau, West Africa. He came to the United States at age 11 and quickly learned a new way of life. He has an abiding desire to highlight the cultural differences between the people of these two continents with the twin goals of fostering unity, and illustrating how alike we all are, in the human family. He is a philanthropist with a focus on sustainable third-world solutions, and enjoys travel, family, good friends and rich experiences. His most recent book is entitled "Growing Up African: Wotna's Journey." He currently lives in Northern California.
