Philip J. Speri is a United States Navy Midshipman and Division 1 swimmer. Speri previously attended Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School.

Biography[edit]

Born in 1998, and a native of Miami, Florida, Speri graduated from Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School in 2016, was appointed a Midshipman in 2016, and took the oath of office in June of 2016. At the Naval Academy, Speri majors in Quantitative Economics, and has lettered in Men's Swimming.

Military Career[edit]

Speri is the recipient of various personal awards, including the National Defense Service Medal, and various unit specific awards. MIDN Speri has served in a variety of roles during his time at the Academy, including the prestigious position of Plebe Company Commander. In addition to this, Speri will serve as Sea Trials Station Corporal in the Spring of 2018. [1]
