About Me[edit]
Education : I am a third generation graduate of Boonville High School. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Southern Indiana where I major in English Teaching.
Employment : I have worked for Vanguard Sales of Evansville, Inc. for almost 19 years. Vanguard is both an alarm company and an answering service in Evansville, Indiana. I began as an answering service operator. I then managed the answering service for 13 years. I now do billing for both the answering service and some areas of the alarm part of the company.
Family : I was born and raised in Boonville, Indiana. I was recently married to a wonderful man and we are expecting a daughter in November. I have two daughters and two stepsons. (Before this pregnancy, my husband and I were each one child shy of being a modern-day Brady Bunch.)
Interests[edit]
- Writing Fiction : Before I became a student at the University of Southern Indiana, I wrote some fiction for personal satisfaction. One of my favorite pieces was about a man who lost his faith in God when his wife developed Breast cancer. Another favorite is about an underground world of vampire clans (written before the Twilight (series), I swear). And yes, my fictional interests certainly vary.
- Pets : As long as I have been an adult, I have had pets in my life. Over the summer, our family lost our beloved Rat Terrier, Jax, to Liver cancer in cats and dogs. We still have a lone cat named Oliver - but we swear sometimes his name should have been Gollum.
- Sports : I am a long time fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
- Faith : I am a member of Southside Baptist Church.
- Political Views : Despite being married to a Conservative, I am a Democratic Party (United States) supporter and I usually lean toward Liberal Democrats.
