Shane King ...(born August 4, 1994) is a famous pictionarian. He is most noted for his victory in the 2012 Pictomania Pictionary Tournament (PPT) in Dallas, Texas. He was selceted for the solo tournament from the Kentucky Word Smiths after a record setting 46,789 point year. He is currently in the first year of a new four-year, 5 million dollar contract.

King started competing in the Ontario Pictionary League when he was 16. He was picked seventh overall by the Belleville Blotters. King had a very successful season, earning him rookie of the year in 2010. He was second in points with 32,116 (First in points was his Belleville teammate John Keating with 32,317.) After his season with the Blotters, King was drafted in the first round, fifth overall, to the Kentucky Word Masons. King became well-known in Kentucky after getting over 5000 points in his first eight matches, a feat yet to be matched. King received the Corey Bowman award for the most points in a year, as well as the Jake Thompson award for the most points by a rookie in a year. Already, he is a contender for the Spencer Cave Decade Cup to be awarded at the end of the 2019-2020 year.

Internationally, representing Canada, King has played in the Internartional Junior Pictionary Tournament (IJPT) and in the PPT. In the IJPT, King finished in sixth place, missing out on the Final Five by eight points. In the PPT, King finished in first place winning the Portrait Cup. He won the tournament by over 300 points.

One of King's most memorable matches was against the Toronto Cutters on October 5, 2011. King set a record for the quickest guess of a twelve letter word (announcement) with a time of 2.76 seconds (The drawer was Ben Finlayson). King finished the match with a record 1,423 points. For one of his turns, he earned 138 points only using a black marker.
