Early life[edit]
Mahendra Chavan was born in village Talsar in Chiplun, Maharashtra. He is son of a farmer. He had to leave his studies at 8th standard to support his family financially. He has worked on a construction site on daily wages and even distributed milk. But form the school he had his interests in sports and athletics. Kabaddi and running were his favourite games. In 1998 he moved to Pune and worked in a hotel.
Career[edit]
He had keen interest in body building and had a good physique that time. Gaining support and help from his admirers he started his body building career in 2002. In May,2002 he played his 1st competition 50kg category. He got a 1st position in 2006.
