Regent Christian Academy[edit]
Introduction[edit]
Regent Christian Academy is a private school located in Surrey, British Columbia. Ranging from Kindergarten to grade 12, the population of the school is about 300 students, as of 2018. The main focus of the institution is to train students to live their lives "Mighty in Spirit", and follow the plans God has set out for them, while staying academically inclined. The school contains many opportunities for students to grow, with at least 3-4 missions teams heading out every year during Spring Break, a numerous amount of athletic teams, musical lessons available at hand, and many more exciting extra curricular activities. Regent Christian Academy continues to be a place of safety and comfort, with the students and staff feeling like a family.
Missions[edit]
A huge emphasis at Regent Christian Academy continues, year after year, to be the annual missions trips. Each year, the school sends out teams to Mexico, Central America, and Africa, and the new addition, the LA Dream Center. The students and staff of each team gives up two weeks of their spring break to help impoverished villages and connect with the communities in the respective places. Every year, students come back with marvelous stories about how God has worked in their lives and changed their outlook on how they are living. Leaving their homes and stepping outside of their comfort zones is always a daunting tasks, but the staff at Regent Christian Academy assures both the parents and their children that they are in safe hands.
