The 2017–18 DFEL season was the 29th season of the German Women's Ice Hockey Bundesliga (German: Deutsche Fraueneishockey-Liga, DFEL), the top tier women's ice hockey league in Germany, since the establishment of the league in 1988.

The 2017–18 season featured eight teams, with each team playing each of the seven others four times, twice at home. The team finishing at the top of the ranking table wins the German Championship.
