On IRC, I am "Spook"
This is my userpage, add stuff to it if you want, just leave my userboxen alone.
Also feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.
I now have an account on the Japanese wikipedia, Spook
About Me [ edit ]
I'm currently a third year at UWA , studying B.CompSci .
I play field hockey during the winter.
What I do here [ edit ]
Mainly I've been doing stuff for WikiProject Perth. My current aim is to add {{template:Perth Suburb}} to every suburb. Slowly getting there.
I preform anti-vandalism work on a semi-regular basis, working to keep wikipedia an excellent resource.
And, I fix ambiguous links.
Spook rocks the #wikipedia channel and keeps it interesting. A great vandalism reverter, this one. - Anirudh 21:39, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Linking to a section of an article
Sometimes it is preferable to refer to a section of a page when linking, rather than to the whole page. You can create a link to any subheading on any page in Wikipedia by including a #
followed by the subheading at the end of a link.
For example: Wikipedia:Community portal#Help out .
In all section links, be sure to use a piped link for readability.
Using a piped link, the previous example looks like this: Help out .
If a section title changes, rather than going red/inactive, the link will lead to the top of the linked page.
