Social Media and Interactive Marketing Manager in the PR/Communications division of Marketing at Stetson University. Have had social media, web editing and communications jobs since joining the StetsonU staff in 2005. Continually work to maintain the Stetson U page according to Wikipedia standards.

Former journalist: Worked 18 years for Daytona Beach News-Journal in various roles including reporter, columnist, feature writer, section editor, layout / paginator.
Have an associate's degree in Advertising/Communications, and a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Religious Studies. I earned the first in the disco days and the latter in 2014 as a midlife project. The B.A. took me eight years of part-time studies.
I have varied interests: reading, writing, gardening, fiber arts, social history, and back-to-the-land leanings (was "organic" decades before it was mainstream). I'm fascinated with the seismic shift the world is undergoing in communicating/interacting/learning/sharing. If my husband and I ever make it off the grid, the ability to connect has to come with us.
