The Pleasures of Exile is a collection of essays all of them written by George Lamming. The book was published by Michael Joseph Ltd. in 1960.[1][2][3][4]
It was later published by Allison & Busby of London in 1985.[5]
According to Encyclopedia Britannica, "The Pleasures of Exile (1960) is a collection of essays that examines Caribbean politics, race, and culture in an international context."[6]
