Overview[edit]

The 1919 Bowling Green Normals football team was the first football team to represent Bowling Green Normal University. The team was coached by John Stitt and lost all three games of their inaugural season without scoring a point. Dale Treece served as the team's first captain.

The 1920 Bowling Green Normals football team was the second football team to represent Bowling Green Normal University. The team was coached by Walter Jean who led the team to its first victory in school history, a 7–0 win against Kent State. The team was captained by Charles Clucas.

The 1921 Bowling Green Normals football team was the third football team to represent Bowling Green Normal University. The team moved from being an independent to affiliating with the Northwest Ohio Conference. The team was coached by Earl Krieger who led the team to its first winning season and first conference championship. The team was captained by Franklin "Gus" Skibbie.

The 1925 Bowling Green Normals football team was the seventh football team to represent Bowling Green Normal University, the second under Warren Steller, who led the Normal to their third conference championship in school history. Steller also became the first coach in the the school's history to stay for longer than one season. The team was captained by Harry Crawford.
