David Kato College is the newest college at the University of York, with plans for the college to be opened in 2022. It is being constructed on East Campus, and is named after David Kato, a Ugandan human rights activist and alumni of the university.

The college was officially opened on 14 March 2023.[1]

There is an ongoing campaign for the gates of the college to be left unlocked, so as to provide easier access to accommodation for residents.[2]

The 2023 CSA Executive Team is:
