Subham Pramanick is a young geographer and researcher whose major thrust area is Urban and Transport Geography. His secondary and higher secondary schooling was completed in Baranagar Narendranath Vidyamandir, Baranagar. He obtained his undergraduate (B.Sc Honours) and postgraduate(M.Sc) degree in 2015 and 2017 respectively from University of Calcutta, Kolkata with National Scholarship from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He passed all UG and PG examinations in First Class. Besides National scholarship, he has been awarded many prizes for his brilliant academic performance since secondary examinations. He worked 3 months as Guest Lecturer of Geography in Habra Sree Chaitanya College and THK Jain College. He has cleared the UGC NET with Junior Research Fellowship in July 2018. Presently he is working as a JRF in Department of Geography, Aliah University, Kolkata. He has till now published two research papers and attended a number of conferences, workshops, FDPs, His area of Research is Urban Transport Corridor.
