My name is Muhammad Fahd Waseem, and I'm a student.

And...

I enjoy writing, which is rather obvious. What is not so obvious is that maths, physics, computing and their unification is one of my fantasies. Having said that, and thus establishing my credentials as a Stephen Wolfram type geek, let me proceed to shatter that image: I enjoy life as much as the next person, even if I do it in more subtle way than the rest of human kind does. I love sports. I am, somewhat, a specialist in racquet sports. Badminton, squash, tennis and table tennis are all in my domain of play. This is a notice to those who still think I am a geek.

My writing is a way for me to express my views and my symphony with life. There is nothing of such beauty as the written word. All the religious scriptures were written down. All the best novels are written down. All the greatest ideas in the cosmos travel best when written down.

I am also a Muslim. A Muslim by choice. There is no religion that teaches as much peace and harmony as the religion whose name even translates as 'Peace'. Islam lets you think for yourself, and be logical. There is logic in One God: even the Jewish Einstein agreed. And truth be told, Jewism and Islam are but a few meters apart in a kilometers wide chasm.

I have a wonderful sister. She'll never hear me say it, but she means a lot to me. Living in one part of the country, away from my family is a liberating experience, but one tends to miss blood relatives. At the end, your family is the place you return to.
