User:Swarm/RfA criteria

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Adminship is no big deal
I will generally support candidates who meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrates reasonable maturity and professionalism.
  2. Entitled to the Experienced Editor service award (6,000 edits and 1.5 years' service).
  3. Active contributor to the project and member of the community.
  4. No recent blocks or policy violations. This includes incivility.
  5. Completely proficient in Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
    • There must be no evidence of the candidate not understanding or not abiding by policies in their recent editing history.
    • Candidates must demonstrate a high level of policy understanding in their responses to questions.
  6. Experienced in the Wikipedia space, article space, and talk space.

IAR: If a candidate meets these criteria, my support is probably guaranteed. However, I do still maintain the right to support candidates who fail to meet these criteria, and oppose candidates who do, for any reason.
