Craig Graham is an Australian television producer and author of children's books. Craig has produced shows including, The Great Outdoors, Border Security, RPA and Once Upon A Time In Cabramatta. [1]

Craig started his television career in 1994 working for Nine Network Australia. [citation needed]

He produced the The Great Outdoors (2001-2003) for the Seven Network.[2] The Great Outdoors was a presenter-driven lifestyle series about the best places to travel in Australia and overseas. In 2009, Seven Network cancelled the show stating there was no room for it.[3]. Craig subsequently developed and produced the break out hit[peacock prose] series Border Security.[4] This is a program that shows the work of the officers of Australian Customs Service, the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship as they enforce Australian customs, quarantine, immigration and finance laws. It is broadcast on the Seven Network. In 2010, the show featured Australian soldiers in Afghanistan. [5]

In 2002, Craig wrote The Possum Thief with Dr Harry Cooper, published by Pan MacMillan Australia.[6] The Possum Thief [6][7] is a fictional picture story book for young children. This book led to the trilogy The Adventures of Dr Harry and Scarlet.

In 2005, Craig was appointed Executive Producer, Nine Network Australia.[citation needed] He produced shows including Crime and Justice[8] , Fire 000[9] , Customs and RPA[10] . In 2009, Craig formed Fredbird Entertainment, an independent production company, to produce factual, lifestyle and reality programming.[citation needed] His more recent work includes, Contract Killers, Once Upon a Time in Cabramatta[11] [12], (the first episode attracted 620,000 viewers[13] ; and Zumbo (TV series), an Australian observational documentary television series following patissier Adriano Zumbo at his Balmain kitchen[9] .
