Tatiana Ray[edit]

Tatiana Ray is currently a junior at Santa Clara University (GO BRONCOS!) in California. She is studying Communication and minoring in studio art. She hopes to one day work for Buzzfeed or in the fashion industry (like many students her age, she's trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life). Tatiana currently works as a desk receptionist at Kennedy Commons at Santa Clara University, and she is also a writer for The Odyssey Online (SCU Chapter). Tatiana is very passionate about art, family, animals, fashion, photography, travel, charity, and music. She is an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta (Eta Lambda chapter) at SCU.

Basic Information[edit]

Tatiana was born April 17, 1995 in Mill Valley, California. Her family is currently living in Redondo Beach, in Southern California. She lives with her mom, dad, and her younger brother. Her family has two dogs, both King Charles Cavaliers, whom Tatiana considers her furry children. She attended Marymount High School in Los Angeles and graduated in 2013 with a distinction in visual art.

Favorites[edit]

Tatiana has a lot of favorite things (cue "My Favorite Things", by Julie Andrews). Her favorite books include The Hunger Games, The Great Gatsby, The Catcher in the Rye, and the Harry Potter series. She in fact is a Harry Potter nerd and could probably talk about it for hours. She even has an account on Pottermore, a Harry Potter fan site created by author, JK Rowling, and is a Hufflepuff. Her favorite movies are The Devil Wears Prada, The Great Gatsby (the newest one), The Lion King, and obviously, the Harry Potter series. Her favorite colors are pink and gold, and her favorite food is ice cream (Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie, to be exact). Her favorite animals are cats, and unicorns (though they're unfortunately not real), and if she could go anywhere in the world for a day, she'd go to Bora Bora. Her favorite superheroes are Batman and Captain America, but her real life hero is her mom. Tatiana's family and friends mean the world to her, and she would do just about anything to make them proud.

Life Dreams[edit]

Tatiana considers herself a big dreamer. When she was young, her goal in life was to be a princess (and to be honest, that's still a secret goal of hers). Now, more than anything, she wants to travel the world, and learn about all the many amazing cultures and traditions around the world. She loves to make people happy and is the type of person that would do almost anything to make someone smile. She would love to someday go sky diving, scuba diving, go backpacking around Europe, meet (and befriend) Jennifer Lawrence, go to Fashion Week, and hopefully make enough money to be able to support her family.
