In Douglas County, Kansas, there are some towns that are nearly obsolete currently. In their wake of being deserted, cemeteries lay behind with stories that are left untold. Towns such as Franklin, Black Jack, Big Springs and LeCompton are all considered ghost towns in Douglas County.
