tbitson is an aerospace engineer and manager with extensive background in electrical and mechanical engineering. His specialty is in system integration and test. His career spanned multiple key developments in technology, from the first shoulder-fired heat seeking missile in 1978 to space missile interceptors in the 2000's. He was born in Pomona, California and currently resides near Tucson, Arizona. He has been programming computers since 1984. Tim published one of the first DIY books titled "Weather Toys" describing how to build an internet connected weather station in 2006.
