Kashoo is a privately held technology company. Their main product is an Internet based asynchronous accounting platform aimed at small and medium sized businesses.[1]

  • 2009 - May: Acquired by Farm Business Consultants Inc. (FBC)
  • 2010 - Sep: Released application in the Google App Marketplace[2]

Kashoo was founded by Dobes and May Vandermeer in 2008 out of their previous software consulting business Habisoft Inc.. In Oct 2009 Jim Secord was recruited as CEO. The company has approximately 12 employees and remains privately held.

Product[edit]

Kashoo's main product offering is an asynchronous web-based accounting platform. The product is sold as SaaS.

Business applications[edit]

Kashoo supports double-entry bookkeeping, invoicing, multiple user accounts, bank statement imports and Freshbooks imports. The platform is integrated with Google Apps and offers a 3rd party API for software developers.

Operating environment[edit]

The Kashoo Online Accounting platform utilizes cloud computing and runs in all major Internet browsers.
