Durge is a punk rock band formed in October of 1996 in Plymouth, Indiana. The band originally consisted of five members; Craig Durge (Craig DeBoard)(vocals), Richie Durge (Richie Dickson)(vocals) , Troy Durge (Troy Hess)(drums), Jonathon Cope(guitar), and Brad Foote(bass). Brad Foote left the band shortly after it's formation as did Richie Durge. Craig Durge handled vocal duties alone while Rob Brass was brought in temporarily to replace Foote until a permanent bassist could be found. The band began playing shows in the Ft. Wayne are of Indiana with other notable acts such as The Migraines, Mission Mustard, and The Shortcuts and were quickly offered a deal from Sick Duck Records. Rob Brass left soon after and Judah Easton became the band's permanent bass player. In 1997 the band began playing shows all across northern Indiana with acts such as The Jerkoffs, The Antics, A-Team, Daft, Street Fleet and many others. They were known for putting on weekly shows at the Rum Village park in South Bend, Indiana and put together the show called "Punk Fest" in Plymouth, Indiana in the summer of 1997 which included over 30 bands and had free admission. At the show police attempted to close it down due to noise, however all of the bands and fans who attended gathered and spoke to the mayor, Jack Greenlee and were allowed to continue, having the band Daft to finish the show with the song "Gagged by the Flag". Easton was later fired from the band and Scott Diablo (Scott Miller) replaced him as bassist. Due to personal issues between Diablo and Craig Durge, Craig left the band. Diablo took over vocal duties and Troy Durge was fired from the band. Cope left shortly after of his own choosing.

In April of 2011, Dickson, DeBoard, and Foote began discussing the possibility of reuniting. In November of 2011, Foote declined the invitation and was replaced by Izzy (Israel Wilcox), a friend of the band from the Plymouth, Indiana area. DeBoard and Dickson both returned for dual vocal duties, Hess returned to do drum work, and Cause For Concern guitarist, Heath Hicks (Heath Hooligan), was brought in to replace Cope on guitar. A new sound for the band emerged as Nik Hazzard (Nik Havert) of Nappanee, Indiana was brought in to do harmonica work giving the band a ska-core sound.

The band now is working with Wrecked Hooligan Records on an all new EP and a follow up full length album.
