One of the lesser known but extremely important titles of Jesus is that of Christ the Mediator. Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant. A mediator is one that brings together two otherwise irreconcilable parties in mutual agreement. A covenant mediator is one that bridges the wide divide between God and humanity.
