Who am I?[edit]

I am a person who happens to be very interested in the field of mathematics, as evidenced by my username. I like to participate in mathematics competitions in my area, such as the AMC 8 and MATHCOUNTS. I really enjoy geometry, even though algebraic topics are fun, also. I live in Virginia in a normal household on an ordinary street. I really enjoy being in close proximity to the airport and our nation's capital (Washington, DC), which I have visited numerous times.

I also really like airplanes; in fact, I want to become an aeronautical engineer later in life. I am fond of both Boeing and Airbus aircraft, but I really admire the aircraft made by Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin. I will be posting more information about the airplanes made by these companies later. Mechanical things seem to interest me a lot; I like to know how certain technologies work.

My relationship with Wikipedia[edit]

I have only been on Wikipedia for about a month now, but I have already begun to help out with other Wikipedians. For instance, I am deeply involved in the Red Link Recovery WikiProject. I realize that Wikipedia and its sister projects have great potential to become even better, so i try to help out wherever I can. Still, there are many policies and procedures on Wikipedia that I really need to learn about, one of which would be the image policy. The page is still under construction, but I will try to update it as frequently as I can. I am school on the weekdays, so I'll try to make the most of my contributions on the weekends.

I hope to contribute enough to Wikipedia, and learn its ways to eventually apply for adminship, but that's a long way into the future. I really enjoy how much quick information I can obtain from Wikipedia, and I truly want to improve Wikipedia so that it meets the demands of everyone. I will get involved in more WikiProjects, and make constructive edits and posts. I will also try to copyedit as many pages as possible.
