Tag bombing

Hi, just as an FYI, it is considered bad form to place a bunch of tags on an article, especially when they can be fixed pretty easily. Uncategorized articles can be categorized using a semi-automated tool called HotCat so there is rarely a need to place that tag. In the case of this article, none of those were needed because a quick search showed it was about an article that we already have, so all we had to do was redirect it to the existing article. Speedy deletion nomination of Arpit Malviya

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Arpit Malviya requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @Robert McClenon: I did not create the article. And why tell me you reviewed it? The garmine (talk) 05:30, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
@Robert McClenon: I agree on that it should be deleted though. It's definitely not notable. The garmine (talk) 05:32, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
@Robert McClenon: but something weird did happen, Because I was patrolling recent changes and simply tried to edit it. The garmine (talk) 05:38, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
You and I ran into a problem which I occasionally encounter, and that is being notified about an article that one did not think that one created. In this case it was a sort of edit conflict. You were trying to tag the article with tags, and I was trying to move it to user space. However, in the process, two versions were created, one in article space, which was attributed to you, although you did not intend to create it, and one in user space. I then tagged the version in article space for deletion. We both agree that it doesn't belong in article space. Just ignore any such silly notices. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:41, 2 July 2017 (UTC)

Repeat prodding

Please read Wikipedia:Proposed deletion. In particular, if another editor removes a prod tag (for whatever reason), you cannot put the prod tag back (as you did here). Schwede66 18:58, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

@Schwede66: the problem has been fixed. I will try not to repeat this action again. The garmine (talk) 02:05, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
