RJ Amar
RJ Amar.
(real name Amarinder Khaira [1])is a Radio Jockey from Chandigarh (India) currently working with Radio Mantra 91.9FM, Jalandhar [2]. Amar is the only local RJ of North India to have a wide online presence[3].
Before joining Radio Mantra Amar worked with 92.7 Big FM Patiala and Academy of Broadcasting, Chandigarh as Intern RJ and Radio Engineer respectively. Amar started his career in the age 17 buy joining Academy of Broadcasting, as a student and did Professional course in Radio Jockey.
Amar took part in several major events of Radio in North India like Limca Book RJ Marathon of Big FM and Mega RJ hunt, RJgiri of Radio Mantra. Bound to redefine the way DJ's or you can say RJ's/MJ's perform on-air. Amar has totally a different voice (not the typical one's present on Radio). With a completely different style, accent and content, Amar does a dual jock interview based Show on Radio Mantra named 2in1. He relates to the youth, Urban people of Jalandhar and is often On-Air on some show or the other unlike other Jocks who are only heard on specific shows.
