Faith Hahn (1991 -- present) is an American singer, songwriter, performer and session vocalist whose voice has been featured on both major and indie tracks, including "The House That Horse Built" recording [1] for the 2009 National Book Award[2] winner, Let The Great World Spin, co-written by Colum McCann and Joe Hurley (Life, Keith Richards) and produced by Don Fleming. On the track, Faith sings in a choir alongside soul-legend Tami Lynn and film star Antonique Smith. [3].

Her original music has been recognized several times by the GRAMMY's [4][5] but perhaps what she is most noted for is her extraordinary range and unique vocal style which infuses both her classical training and her rock n' roll upbringing. She reportedly shares a vocal coach with both Celine Dion and the late Luciano Pavarotti. [6]

As the daughter of parents with musical credits that include Billy Idol, The Misfits , The Ramones, The Slaves of New Brunswick and Squeeze, Hahn was raised in an environment which allowed her to collaborate with such artists as ELO (Electric Light Orchestra, Blondie, Patti Smith, members of Journey, Boston, Blue Oyster Cult, Cracker,Iggy Pop, Yes,Ian Hunter, Tom Brislin, Antonique Smith, Michael Imperioli, The Cheiftans, Tony Garnier (Bob Dylan), The Alice Cooper Band, Joe Piscopo, Ricky Byrd of Joan Jett, the Consul-General of Ireland and Eric Whitacre [7][8][9] while still maintaining a signature personal edge and genre-bending quality to her vocals and writing.

Her first show ever at fourteen years old (2006) was to a packed house at the New Jersey State Theatre of 2,000 rock fans, during which she defiantly sang the Ave Maria (Bach Gounod), and garnered the first standing ovation of the night. The bold move landed her a spot in Glen Burtnik (Styx)'s annual "Xmas Xtravaganza" benefit every year since. [10]

Her original music has garnered much attention on the internet, specifically the international song, "Marie, Je T'aime", sparking an online transmedia revolution in France [11] and an ongoing series of artists covering the song on YouTube and at French festivals (also titled after the song). Her song, "Superhuman" will be featured in the upcoming Bollywood/Hollywood crossover film, "Love, Lies and Seeta" [12][13].
