Panic Girl aka Martha Plachetka was born 1981 in Germany with polish and silesian roots.

She dedicated her life to music at the age of eight. She attended university to study German Philology and History but dropped out soon, knowing that she couldn’t do without music as the main part of her life. She had several jobs as a remixer, vocal engineer, music producer, broadcast engineer and eventually audio lecturer. But besides these activities it has always been a vital part for Panic Girl to express herself in downbeat productions. She is known to be a true hard- and software geek.

Panic Girl delivers a deep mixture of electronica and trip hop. Being dead serious about her art, she not only writes her own lyrics and music, but as well produces all recordings on her own.

Her debut EP "Burn And Rise" was released on February 25th 2010 on the Berlin based label .shadybrain.[2]
