About myself (including as a Wikipedian)

I decided not to include my exact age but Included the floppy disk and VHS userboxes as a clue (I remember them being commonplace and have used them). 26 October 2007 (traced to the date of my first contribution) refers to the time I created my account on the English Wikipedia. I had actually started reading Wikipedia in March 2007. I unified my account in 2010 to allow me to upload images to Wikimedia Commons though I have also contributed to Wiktionary and Wikiquote. My username Tk420 is from TK-421 in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope but I decided to use the next number down after using TK421 to refer to a friend. I originally intended to capitalise both letters but typed Tk420 by mistake and decided to keep it that way by the time I realised.

Interests

In countries and territories I visited I included the flags of Catalonia and Sark, which are part of Spain and the Bailiwick of Guernsey respectively, because I have so far never visited any other part of Spain or Guernsey (unless you count staying on the ferry while it called at St Peter Port on its way from Poole to Saint-Malo) and they have a strong national identity and a degree of autonomy making me feel somewhat uncomfortable saying I have been to Spain or Guernsey (like saying I went to Great Britain if I just went to Scotland).

Userboxes I created

I try to create another version of the Template:User Je suis Charlie to include the hashtag Je suis Ahmed Merabet but the image was rejected as being a non-free Facebook image. The remember VHS userbox is actually an amendment, to bring it closer to my original vision for it, to an idea I suggested in 2007 before I knew how to create my own userboxes (the original box is User:Mifter/Userboxes/Remember VHS).

Out of all the images I uploaded, the one below is the one I am most proud of. I took it myself from the Severn Side footpath on 23 February 2019 after I realised there was not already an image of the Iron Bridge in its current colour (added in the 2018 restoration) although it a recognisable landmark of Shropshire. I captured the east side, partly because the direct sunlight made it look brighter on camera but also as a change from the previous image which pictured the west side. I am most proud of the fact that is has been recognised as the primary image for the Iron Bridge on the English Wikipedia as well as being used on seven non-English versions of Wikipedia.
