The 2006 Nintendo Power Awards is a 2007 awards festivity held in May 2006 in Nintendo Power magazine. The nominees were announced in March 2007 (Volume 213) and the winners were announced in May 2007 (Volume 215).

New categories introduced were Game of the Year - Wii, Best Wi-Fi Fuctionality, Best Overall Wii Control, and Best DS Functionality. Best New Concept became Best Alternative Game.

This is the first and only time that, technically, two games have won Game of the Year in the same year. The two games were the Wii version and GameCube version of Twilight Princess.
