Hello, My name Linda, and welcome to my place here on Wikipedia

About me[edit]

I'm just some woman from Amsterdam, the Netherlands who lives now in Dubai. I've got a broad interest, ranging from music, sports, science etc.

I grew up in Amsterdam, The Netherlands These days I live, because of my work, in Dubai. I'm a post op Transwoman, I transitioned when I was 18, Sex reassignment surgery when I was 24. I did Voorbereidend wetenschappelijk onderwijs and after that, HBO Vocational university where I studied journalism, with a specialty in photojournalism, and after my study, I worked for a couple of years as a journalist for the Telegraaf, a Dutch newspaper, but because I loved traveling, I took the step to become a Flight Attendant and I passed, First I flew a couple of years with KLM, and later I I started to fly with Emirates Airlines as a flight attendant, and these days, as Cabin crew Supervisor (Purser). At the moment I'm qualified to fly on the B777 and A-380.

Past times[edit]

I love to spend my times outdoor, and my biggest past time is Mountaineering and rock climbing, I've climbed some peaks: Semeru, Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Grossglockner, Eiger, Wildspitze, Teufelshorn and various other peaks.

Another big thing is scuba diving. I'm a member of the Global Underwater Explorers, and I'm a PADI Master Scuba Diver My interests are: wrecks and underwater flora and fauna.

Other Bits & Bobs[edit]

Because of my twin brother, who served with the French Foreign Legion as a Caporal in the 2nd Foreign Engineer Regiment, a Mountain Engineer Regiment in France He even went to work for the British Antarctic Survey and has a background as a Maritime Officer, I can also tap in to his knowledge, if I want some background information, when working with Wikipedia.
