Introduction[edit]

I am a marketing student of York College. My I/O Psychology Professor, Dr. Ashton^[1] assigned a project in which we ~~should learn~~ must learn how to edit Wikipedia. Industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology involves the application of the methods, facts, and principles of the science of psychology to people at work.^[2]

Objectives of Projected Assignment[edit]

The objectives of the assignment are:

To learn I/O Psychology content
To develop writing skills
To develop an understanding of crowdsourcing
To reflect upon the value of Wikipedia
To reflect upon our ability to create knowledge
To develop self-directed planning and follow up

Current Task[edit]

Learning Wikipedia in an effort to systematically add to, and or, ameliorate current information pertaining to I/O Psychology that has been presented for public viewing via Wikipedia.
Editing my user page in an effort to achieve the highest grade possible in the mentally taxing, seemingly impossible class.
