User: TripleGem3 This page is started to add current Buddhist terminologies onto Wikipedia. I have not published an article yet, but intend to clear up confusion around the word "sati". Currently there is one entry, quite elaborate, on a Hindu practice of immolation, or setting oneself on fire. This is very different than the Buddhist word "sati" which is a state of mind conducive to meditation and part of the basis of the path to realization. I'm hoping someone with more experience on Wikipedia can help me add this additional definition. I have 4 books by Bikkhu Analayo about Sati and Satipatthana that we can site.
