Gene Huff during an interview.

Gene Huff first came into public light in 1989 as the close friend of the infamous Bob Lazar. Huff is known for having backed Lazar's claims about working in a super secret military instillation called S-4 (facility) staged out of the Nellis Air Force Range (Now referred to as NTTR) and is quoted to have seen test flights at night of the craft Lazar got a chance to work with. Bob and Gene have been friends for most of their lives, even before the alleged incidents at S-4 occurred in '88 to '89. Gene has maintained his story for the past two decades including his story about the UFO's that he saw in person flying over Area 51 and adamantly supports the passionate tellings of Lazar.[1]

Biography[edit]

Gene moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1979 , where he would later meet lifelong friend, Bob Lazar, in the mid-1980s. For the past 25 years, Gene has owned a real estate appraisal business. He was close friends with Lazar before and after Bob was reportedly working at S-4 reverse engineering alien aircraft under strict security clearance. During and after Lazar's time at S-4, Huff was aware of Bob's occupation and the security measures his employer took in order to keep the project information he was working on private.

Gene was quoted to say this on a KLAS-TV interview with George Knapp in Nov of '89:

Well, he (Lazar) was being quiet. If he kept me abreast of anything, he kept me abreast of the security checks -- they'd randomly drop by his house. They'd threaten his life; they'd threaten his wife's life. They had done all that so we really didn't converse, I mean, he really was adhering to the program.

Gene went on to write the video tape "The Lazar Tape and Excerpts from the Government Bible" and co-produced the project with Bob himself. Gene also wrote and adapted the screenplay "S4, The Bob Lazar Story" which has been optioned by Hollywood studios on numerous accounts, but has not yet been made. Huff co-owned Tri-Dot Productions with Bob for 10 years and while there helped coordinate and produce the "Desert Blast" summer fireworks, guns, & explosives blowout.[2] Gene recently moved to New Mexico a few years ago and is where is presently resides.[3]

Gene is currently working on two screenplays and researching a book on why it is dangerous to admit you're an American while traveling abroad in today's world. Furthermore, how and why things got that way and how we can prevent it from getting worse in the future.[4]

UFO Sightings[edit]

During the spring of 1989 Lazar took several of his friends to Groom Lake, Gene being one of them. While there they witnessed an unidentified flying object at the exact time that Lazar claimed it would be there. Gene describe what we saw in the following account: The disc came up around the same place but, this time, it staged a breathtaking performance. It repeated moves similar to the week before, but this time it came down the mountain range toward us. At first it seemed far away, then you'd blink and it would seem a lot closer, then you'd blink again and it would seem a LOT closer. It wasn't the same sensation as seeing a set of headlights on a car or landing lights on a jet approach you at night time. There was no sense of continual movement toward you, it just sort of "jumps" toward you and this is very alarming to your brain. Bob explained that this is because of it's [sic] method of propulsion and the way it distorts space/time and light.[5] The witnessing of the UFO by Gene is one of the few examples where Lazar's story was corroborated by an independent witness. Lazar, Huff and others who witnessed the UFO claim that it was extraterrestrial, while more parsimonious explanations, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, cannot be discounted.[6]
