Sihawa is a mountain range located in Dhamtari district near Raipur. This is where the Mahanadi originates. Sihawa mountain falls under the Nagri city development block of Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh state, from where Mahanadi is believed to have originated from a kamandal, when that mountain sank the sage of sage Muni and fell, the stream of water started flowing from there. It is believed to be famous as Mahanadi, it is believed to flow from part of the top of the Mahanadi mountain and pass through the inner parts of the mountain. The temple is located which is very famous. Karneshwar temple is situated near the banks of Sihawa mountain where a fair is organized every year in the month of Magha which is very famous. People come from far and wide to see this fair. What are the features that the tribals take out in a procession in the worship of their deities, which is crowded to see a huge crowd near the temple is the confluence of Mahanadi and Pari river where people bathe in the morning on the opening day of the fair This fair is of 3 to 5 days
