Inclosure & Drainage Act 1833[edit]

In 24th July 1833 The government past the Inclosure & Drainage Act which enabled the improvement of the drainage of Everton in 1860, which by
this time was grossly inadequate.

Anthony Gilby[edit]

Anthony Gilby was MP from ≈ 1646 to ≈ 1675, his family back round was that of a lower upper class in Lincolnshire. Gained his fortune by
marrying a Nottinghamshire heiress, he was an active royalist leading him to join the Newark garrison under Lord Belasyse and the sinning of the articles
of surrender in 1646. In 1650 he was fined £25, the local major-general was stated as saying ‘ a dangerous enemy ’. For collaboration in projected rising
in 1655 Anthony found himself imprisoned. By 1675 Anthony help pass sevrle act and bills also he received the government whip. Proximally four years later
he offered his services to Hall for the coming Parliament, but was turned down due to the discovery that he had embezzled £650 worth of
lead and 12,000 bricks, belonging to the Hull garrison. He escaped being proceeded against, ‘in consideration of his loyal and eminent services’. He was buried at
Everton on 27 Apr. 1682.
