Valentina Agnes Da Cruz (born March 12, 2005), known professionally by her pen name Valentina Agnes, is a Brazilian-Portuguese author. She is best known for her YA debut novel, The Last Ones, about six teenagers cursed at birth. Valentina is fluent in three languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Early Life[edit]
Valentina was born on March 12, 2005, to Miss Brazil 1997 Fernanda Agnes[2] and Paulo Jorge. Since her childhood, she has shown a lot of ability to turn small facts into big stories, through her original and creative way of telling stories full of mystery and entertainment. Valentina started writing when she was twelve.
Education[edit]
Valentina is a National Honor Society, President List, and Honor Roll student at Southern New Hampshire University[3], where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Valentina graduated from George C. Marshall High school with a President Award for Educational Excellence certificate, President Education Awards Program with Mr. President Joe Biden signature, a bilingual seal for being fluent in English and Spanish, and also being a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, with Service Learning Cord, Statement Star Winner, West Point Certificate, with a Academic Letter Awards and Portuguese Club president.
Career[edit]
Valentina during high school wrote two books. Valentina debut novel, The Last Ones[4], was published by Austin Macauley Publisher, in 2023, shortly after her high school graduation. The novel was inspired by her Brazilian heritage.
