The most important thing to know about me is that I forget to check the "this is a minor edit" option for 99% of my minor edits.

I'm Valentine--call me Val, if you feel the need to call me anything.

I'm a high school student living in Pittsburgh, land of terrible food and worse weather. My interests relevant to Wikipedia would mostly consist of my obsession with copyediting and adoration of grammatical structure and convention. In general, areas that I'm interested in would be music (I already know a little too much about bands and pop culture, and would like to learn more about musical theory), pop culture/media, gender studies, queer literature, historical civil rights movements, and autism spectrum disorder-related topics.

I'm terrible with Wiki markup and very absentminded in general, which, fortunately, doesn't seem to be as fatal a combination for a new user as I'd originally assumed.

Note: I use userboxes to indicate information which I believe is important to my editing experience: topics I would like to edit, styles of editing, possible biases, et cetera. If you ever see me displaying behavior which is deemed inappropriate, these lists might be rather helpful for you to understand why I'm displaying said behavior. (Please do tell me to stop, though.)
