Christos Terzides (born in 1971, Cologne, Germany) is a Greek author, journalist and a music manager. He has written three books. The first, Hip Hop Don't Stop (2003) was classified as “the most commercial book of the year” under the category of music. He has lived in Germany, Greece and USA.

Early life[edit]

Terzides was born in Cologne, Germany but he grew up in the neighborhood of Panorama in Thessaloniki, Greece. He has passed his exams at the Department of Mechanics of the Technological Educational Institute of Serres but he decided to forgo his studies and focused his attention to the first journalism seminars that were funded by EEC in 1989.

Work[edit]

In September 1991 Terzides published his own magazine “In Rock” the first monthly review of the Greek independent music community. Its publishing boosted the publishing of a series of new magazines, as it was the first free press magazine to be distributed all over Greece. He also established his own company “Rock Management” specializing in public relations, music management, event organization and music production. In 2001 he takes over the representation and the organization of concerts for artists such as Dimitris Poulikakos, Lakis Papadopoulos, George Pilali, Vangelis Germanos, Anoihti Thalassa until the spring of 2003. It is at this time, he decides to leave the rest of the projects and to exclusively undertake the management of Nikos Vourliotis (NiVo) his band Goin’Through and Family the Label. In the fall of 2003 he publishes “Hood” the first free press magazine for Hip Hop & RnB culture. The publishing of the “Hood” and “In Rock” comes to an end in 2005. In 2003, Terzides publishes the book “Hip Hop Don’t Stop” by Oxy Publications. The book covers the Greek hip hop scene from its very beginning until the period of its publication. It was classified as “the most commercial book of the year 2011” under the category of music. Terzides has also written two novels “And The End Is Always Near” published by Kedros Publications in 2009 and “Bright Nights” published by Intro Books Publications in 2011. In August 2011, he becomes a partner of “Terret Entertainment”, a management company based in New York.
