New to Wikipedia, I have found it an excellent starting point for researching medical issues. Despondent with both private and national health services in the UK, I have taken to investigating the topic of epilepsy myself. (There's been 7 years of tonic-clonic fits, no diagnosis and seemingly no committed interest from several consultants – there are just too many patients for doctors to deal with, and those who don't fit an obvious diagnosis get left in the forgotten pending pile!)
