Career

John Webb began his broadcasting career in June of 2015. He called a local radio station (KWAL) and asked if they had time to teach him the robes of broadcast-journalism. At that time, things were hectic at the station, just like every live radio and TV studio, so they told him that they'd call him back. The very next day, he received a call, asking him to go to the studio for tour by one of their news anchors. Webb was amused and amazed on how everything worked. From that point on, he knew what he wanted to do as an adult. A week later, he began interning at the station. His mornings began early and his evenings ended late. He learned how to produce, edit and broadcast a news package. In August of the same year, he had to go back to school, so he did little jobs here-and-there throughout the winter into the next summer. In June of 2016, the station hired him as a News and Weather Anchor. He worked at KWAL throughout the summer. In September of 2016, the Wallace High School obtained a community TV channel that is provided by a local cable network. Webb was the first to sign up for the class. Later in the school year, Webb was announced Managing Editor for the Channel. He remodeled the whole network and introduced a new show... Channel 3 News. His first newscast debuted in February of 2017. Since then, the broadcasts has developed into a respected community program.
