Will McGrew (1989- ) was born in Monroe Louisiana on November 1, 1989. He is an artist, songwriter, screenwriter, and underground poet. McGrew's claim to fame was with such works of art as "The Face" and "Old Man", and poems such as "The Disobedient Generation" and songs such as "Harmonize." A campaign was started in 2001 called "The World Famous Will McGrew" in which people soon started buying artwork from him. An underground comedic book was issued in 2003 called, Willisms, a favorite among students and people alike. Many of McGrew's artworks can be found in the Masur Museum of art in Monroe, La. and other various museums around Louisiana. In 2006 a screenplay was completed by McGrew called "In An Act of Desperation" and is widely looked at as one of the most "Carefully crafted" pieces of work in Monroe's history. Filming will begin in late 2007.
