I am a genealogist and historian living in the city of Madison, Wisconsin, home to one of the largest repositories of archival primary source material in the United States - the Wisconsin Historical Society. I am open to collaborating with people on a wide assortment of topics, and also willing (when time permits) to obtain primary source material if available locally, to assist in building wikipedia articles. I find it curious that the ONE word I typed which the lexicon testing my spelling found wrong, is, and was, wikipedia. Hmmmm.

I quit editing as of 31 July 2015, because I am unable to figure out why there are so many articles with poor grammar and syntax, and when I fix them, someone comes along and reverts the article to the way it was, confusing, poorly written, but "original."
