This article is a complete list of every mob in the sandbox game, Minecraft.

Allay[edit]

The Allay is a functional flying mob, added after winning the 2021 Mob Vote[1] in Minecraft version 1.19, which takes items dropped by players and searches for copies of said item throughout the world, before returning it to the player. It only spawns naturally in two structures, the Pillager Outposts and Woodland Mansions, typically imprisoned in some way.[2] Due to their similar appearance to the Vex, it has been theorized by the community that the two mobs are related.[citation needed] It can duplicate without the need of a second allay, making it the only mob to be able to asexually reproduce.[3]

Axolotl[edit]

The Axolotl is an aquatic creature added in Minecraft version 1.17[4], found in the "Lush Cave" biome, based off of the real life critically endangered amphibian. They are peaceful to players, and can be tamed in a bucket, however they will attack most aquatic mobs, only excluding the Dolphin and Turtle.[3]

Bat[edit]

The Bat is a passive, flying mob, added in Minecraft version 1.4 based off of the real life flying mammal. They spawn in any type of cave biome, either flying or hanging upside down on a block. They will always fly away if a player goes near them.[3]

Bee[edit]

The Bee is a neutral flying mob, added in Minecraft version 1.15, based off of the real life flying insect. They live in nests and beehives, in groups of two to three[5] and will only attack players if attacked first, or their nest is destroyed by one. They attack by stinging, which gives a poison effect to the player, however this will also kill the bee after a minute.[3][5]

Blaze[edit]

The Blaze is a hostile flying mob, added in Minecraft version 1.0, only found in Nether Fortresses. They will spawn due to Monster Spawners located throughout a fortress, and will hover mid-air, shooting fireballs at the player until killed. They may drop Blaze Rods upon death, which is necessary for creating Eyes of Ender to access The End dimension. They are immune to all types of fire and lava, but will take damage from rain, water, and snow.[3]

Camel[edit]

The Camel is a passive mob, added in Minecraft version 1.20 that spawns only in Desert Villages, based on the real life hoofed mammal. They are ridable, and are the only mob that allows two players to ride it at once. They are slower than horses, but
