Brief Bio

My name is Yonas and I was born in Addis Ababa to Eritrean parents. I have lived in America for the past 20+ years (mainly Washington, DC area).

I received my primary school education at St. Joseph School (Addis Ababa) and completed high school at St. Paul Academy and Summit School and Montgomery Blair High School. I studied Economics and Management at the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Languages

Tigrinya was the first language I learned to speak followed by Amharic and then English. Lately, I have been struggling to keep the first two.
