About Me[edit]

Teluisi! My name is Yves (pronounced /eev/) and I am a high school student with many interests, such as world history, biology (and anything to do with spiders), and geography. I'm still figuring this website out for myself, so pardon me if I seem a little dull.

My first activity on Wikipedia was on September 29, 2022 when I found the page for my surname, Retailleau. I added cyclist Valentin Retailleau to the page.

English is my second language, but I like to think that I am fairly proficient at it. I love learning new words! If you'd like to share a word with me, feel free to post it on my talk page.

I grew up in eastern Québec to Miꞌkmaq parents. As such, I spoke French at school and Mi'kmawi'simk at home. We later moved to North Carolina, where I learned English. Either way, I live on Turtle Island.

To think life has any implicit purpose is foolish. I like to think that a person's only purpose is a purpose they assign themselves; I've assigned myself joy. To fulfill my purpose, I spend time with my family and I play Sudoku.
