DoES Liverpool is a non-profit makerspace located in Liverpool. It was was incorporated as a UK Community interest company in June 2011[1] and officially opened in July 2011[2].
By 2015, DoES Liverpool had gained a reputation as a centre for Internet of Things development.[3] In 2019, DoES Liverpool was featured on The Gadget Show, where DoES Liverpool makers helped presenter Georgie Barrat build a number of health and activity-related wearable technologies.[4]
DoES Liverpool currently offers coworking, workshop space, and event space, along with access to a range of tools and machinery including laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC mills. Members can take out a number of daily and monthly membership plans, and the space and equipment can also be used for free use every Thursday night (Maker Night) and one Saturday a month (Maker Day).
