Development[edit]

In May 2022, when asked if he'd be interested in doing a Disney+ series about Wong, [Benedict] Wong stated that he'd love to and suggested exploring what Wong was up to in the five years after the Blip as one potential storyline.[1][2] In September when asked again about a potential series, Wong said it wasn't for him to push for it, but he followed up by saying "I love playing this role, and I think there’s so much more scope that we could go into with a series".[3]
